The Centre for Studies in Philosophy of Science, Logic and Epistemology (CEFILOE) is a meeting place for the interaction between philosophy and science.

The Centre is composed of an international and interdisciplinary team that includes both members affiliated with the Universidad de Valparaíso and collaborators from a range of international institutions.
Mission
To foster the development of the Philosophy of Science, Logic, and Epistemology, particularly in Chile, by supporting and promoting academic training and interdisciplinary research.
Vision
We aim to bridge the gap between science and philosophy through a broad, interdisciplinary, collaborative, and innovative approach that fosters connections between the humanities and the sciences. We are committed to cultivating reflective and critical thinking, as well as meaningful collaboration and open philosophical dialogue. We aspire to become a leading centre for the Philosophy of Science, Logic, and Epistemology, both in Chile and worldwide.
